Prunus L. is a genus belongs to deciduous, evergreen trees and shrubs native the temperate regions of Northern Hemisphere, with around 343 species worldwide. Hooker discovered 19 in India, ranging altitude from 760 4000 metres. Many wild fruits are high vitamins minerals, local residents gather them their natural habitats meet daily nutritional needs. Jam, jelly, alcoholic beverages, fruit juice all made pulp edible species. The kernels some produce industrial oils, while others provide high-quality timber medicines. authors this study about choose five four medicinal found that dulcis (Mill.) D.A.Webb having highest concentrations protein (21.2g), carbohydrates (21.6g), dietary fiber (12.5g) respectively. cerasoides Buch.-Ham. ex D.Don has also been reported have properties. Since plant component contains numerous phytochemical such as flavones isoflavones, Glycoside, its berries, including stem, roots, heartwood, used therapeutic agents. Other contain important phytochemicals well, but due lack research area other species, data on rest missing. As result, it explore gap, which will support wide variety fields.
